Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Who we are
The Edit Space is a video editing service run by A Content Space ( Unit 9, Cue House, Chapel Lane, Stockton Heath, Warrington, Cheshire, WA4 6LL). “We”, “us” and “our” mean A Content Space. Contact: stephen@acontentspace.com.
2. What the service is
You upload raw video footage; our system (AI editing, checked by a human editor) produces an edited video for you to review and download. One round of changes is included with every edit. The live activity feed shows the progress of your edit; it's a progress display, not a claim that editing happens instantly.
3. Accounts
You need an account (email sign-in) to use the service. Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or over, or have permission from whoever pays the bills.
4. Payments, credits and subscriptions
- First edit: £1, one per customer. Your card is saved securely by our payment provider, Stripe (we never see the full number), then the £1 is taken. The saved card makes future purchases one click. We will never start a subscription without you explicitly choosing one.
- Single edits: £50 each, one-off. Edits you buy one at a time don't expire.
- Subscriptions: Creator (£250 a month, 10 edits) and Studio (£500 a month, 25 edits). Unused edits roll over for one month, then expire. Cancel any time from your account; you keep your edits until the end of the month you've paid for. Plan changes apply from your next renewal.
- Prices include no VAT: A Content Space isn't currently VAT registered. If that changes we'll tell you clearly before it affects you.
- An edit credit is used when your finished edit is delivered. If an edit fails for reasons on our side and we can't fix it, the credit is returned automatically.
5. Fair use
Each edit covers up to 20 minutes of raw footage. We may decline footage that's well over that, or split it across more than one credit with your agreement.
6. Your content and your rights
- You own your footage and you own the finished edit. Entirely.
- You give us a limited licence to store, process and edit your footage purely to deliver the service (including processing by the providers listed in our Privacy Policy).
- You promise you have the rights to whatever you upload: your own footage, or footage you're licensed to use, including any music. Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or anything meant to deceive. We're a video editor, not a deepfake shop; we may refuse an edit we're not comfortable with and return the credit.
- We keep your files for 30 days from when they're uploaded or made, so you can re-download them, then delete them. Edits you've downloaded are yours to keep forever.
- We may ask permission to use an edit as an example of our work. We'll never do it without asking.
7. Our technology
Everything about how the service edits (our software, editing playbook, prompts and processes) belongs to us. Buying edits doesn't transfer any of it.
8. Human review and delivery
Every edit is reviewed by a human editor before it's delivered. Your first cut is usually ready within 30 minutes of upload, and the studio check follows; timings are targets, not guarantees. The included round of changes is actioned once per edit; further rounds may need another credit.
9. If things go wrong
If we can't deliver a usable edit, your credit comes back; that's the main remedy. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (for example, for fraud), or your statutory rights as a consumer. We're not responsible for how your videos perform on social platforms: algorithms are their own weather system.
10. Ending things
You can close your account any time by emailing us. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms (illegal content, abuse of the £1 offer, payment fraud), refunding any unused paid credits unless the breach is serious.
11. Boring but important
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales. We may update them; material changes are emailed to you before they take effect. If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand.
